Beyond the Interview: Using Leaderless Group Exercises to Identify Top Talent (2 - Half-Day Sessions)

This engaging virtual training focuses on the use of Leaderless Group Exercises as an effective assessment tool in the selection process. This workshop will explore how leaderless group exercises can be used to evaluate critical competencies such as communication, collaboration, problem solving, influence, leadership, and interpersonal effectiveness in a realistic, job-related setting.

About our presenter:

Alycia Leach most recently worked at Contra Costa County as a Principal Human Resources Analyst May 2019 - May 2024, after over 3 years as a Senior Assessment Development Analyst with the City & County of San Francisco. Alycia resigned to homeschool her children, and remains connected to the professional community through training and networking through organizations like WRIPAC. She is an advocate for data-driven test development that will holistically and meaningfully assess candidate skill sets. Alycia's previous experience includes Human Resources functions for NASA and a waste management company in Louisiana. Alycia has a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Southeastern Louisiana University.

A 2024 Stephen E. Bemis Memorial Award recipient, he has revolutionized personnel assessment through innovations like Broad-Based (consolidated) testing and AI integration in HR. Holding a joint doctorate in educational administration and leadership from Cal State LA and UC Irvine, he also serves as an Adjunct Professor at Cal State LA, teaching statistics and data interpretation. As the founder of DFO HR Consulting and a published author, Dr. Olmos remains at the forefront of modernizing HR practices, focusing on AI's role in human resources while upholding merit principles and equitable employment standards.
